Hey there!
I'm Kelcy.

If you’re the kind of person who already feels nostalgic for the life you’re living — or worries you won’t remember this season the way it deserves — you're who my work is built for.

I’m completely obsessed with cherry blossoms.
Growing up in Alaska, spring wasn’t magical — we called it “breakup season.” Muddy, brown, and… soul-crushing. I never understood why people loved spring.

That is, until I moved to New York and saw my first tree in full pink bloom. My heart literally did a backflip.
Now I plan my life around springtime. I black out my calendar and take days off just to go blossom hunting!

If you’re dreaming of spring photos with cotton-candy blooms — I’m your girl!

I read every book with a pen in hand — because I’m always looking for ideas worth keeping.

Books I love:
Atomic Habits by James Clear
The 5am Club by Robin Sharma
168 Hours by Laura Vanderkam

I’m endlessly fascinated by how small habits, systems, and mindset shifts shape a life — and I bring that same thoughtfulness into my work.

GEt to know me

I grew up where the mountains meet the sea — in a place built on hard work, self-reliance, and deep community. Alaska gave me a love for creation, wide-open spaces, and a sarcastic humor with a quick tongue. It also taught me grit before it taught me comfort.

Moving to New York in my 20s was marked mostly by instability. But years later, I found myself nostalgic for those hard seasons. The uncertainty and the moments that didn’t feel special while they were happening — those were the ones that built who I am.

Just a Kid from Alaska.

That’s why I photograph present moments with future emotion in mind.

I work with people who want to remember this season of life clearly — not just how it looked, but how it felt. I don’t leave people guessing what to do or "hoping" they look okay. I direct you in posing so you can relax, trust that I’ve got your back, and actually enjoy the experience instead of worrying about the camera.

My goal is simple: to give you images that feel nostalgic years from now — the kind that make you think, “Yes, those were the good old days. I’m glad I captured it before I left them.”

What working together feels like

You don’t have to know how to pose — that’s my job. I guide my clients every step of the way with clear, thoughtful direction so you feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera.

The result is a session that feels intentional and well-guided—creating images that are thoughtfully directed, timeless, and true to who you are.

Before your session, you’ll receive a style guide designed to take the guesswork out of everything — what to wear, how to choose a location, and even what to do with your images once your gallery is delivered. It’s all created to help you show up feeling prepared and confident.

Most people don’t dislike photos — they dislike feeling unsure and self-conscious in front of the camera. My job is to remove that entirely.
